These are the main stories featured in today's newspapers:

Times of Malta quotes court evidence showing that Edward Caruana, the former Foundation for Tomorrow’s Schools official at the centre of corruption and fraud claims, had direct access to Education Minister Evarist Bartolo in connection with his work. The second story quotes European Parliamentpresident Martin Schulz warning that the price of a failed EU project would have to be paid by future generations.

The Malta Independent quotes Simon Busuttil criticising the EU for not speaking out against corruption. It also says the Archbishop had labelled blogger Glenn Bedingfield, who is paid for by "our taxes", as "aggressive".

L-oriżżont reports Mr Schulz saying that Malta is capable of tackling the challenges currently faced by the EU. It also reports that a doll and a robot for children had raised privacy and security concerns.

In-Nazzjon says the Environment and Resources Authority had rejected a request made by the Nationalist Party to raise its objections about the LNG tanker in Marsaxlokk.
