An 82-year-old woman from Ghaxaq was injured when she was hit by a car in Triq Dawret il-Gudja, Ghaxaq, this morning. Her condition is not yet known.

The woman was hit by a Mazda 929 that was being driven by a 22-year-old man from Marsaxlokk at 5.45am.
