Nationalist Party deputy leader Beppe Fenech Adami this afternoon saw specialists in London where he has gone for medical treatment.

He is expected back in Malta tonight and will continue his treatment at Mater Dei Hospital. He will however have to travel for more treatment in London later on.

In a statement, the Nationalist Party once again appealed for his privacy to be respected.

The Nationalist Party had issued a statement on Tuesday saying that Dr Fenech Adami, son of President Emeritus Eddie Fenech Adami, went for medical treatment abroad.

Since the issuing of the statement, messages of get-well wishes have flooded the social pages, with many calling for prayers for Dr Fenech Adami at such a difficult time of his life.

Dr Fenech Adami will be turning 46 on 5 August.

The messages have come from all walks of life, including from his political adversaries.

Official statements have also been issued by the President and the Labour Party, wishing Dr Fenech Adami a speedy recovery.
