It is not true that all the European Union has agreed on a “concrete commitment of direct action in Libya”, the PN said in a statement.
The European Council conclusions (http://data.consilium.europa.eu/doc/document/ST-11-2015-INIT/en/pdf) clearly show that what Joseph Muscat tried to imply in his comments yesterday is clearly not substantial.
Muscat’s statement was just a tentative reply to Opposition Leader Simon Busuttil’s statement last Thursday in Bruss, which called for the Maltese Prime Minister to persuade the European Union to take concrete action in Libya, the PN said.
